ఈ అప్డేట్ ఏంటంటే రేషన్ కార్డు ఉన్న సభ్యులందరూ రేషన్ షాప్ కు వెళ్లి బయోమెట్రిక్ ఇవ్వవలసి ఉంటుంది.

అయితే రేషన్ షాప్ కు వెళ్లి బయోమెట్రిక్ Authentication ఎందుకు ఇవ్వాలి, ఇలా చేయడం వల్ల ఏమవుతుంది, ఒకవేళ చేయకపోతే ఏమవుతుంది అనే విషయాలను తెలుసుకుందాం.

రేషన్ కార్డులో కొత్త నెంబర్ ని యాడ్ చేయడానికి ఎలా అయితే అవకాశం ఉంటుందో అలాగే, ఎవరైనా ఒక వ్యక్తి మరణించినట్లయితే వారి పేరును తొలగించడానికి కూడా ఒక అప్లికేషన్ ఉంటుంది.

అదేవిధంగా చాలామంది చనిపోయిన వ్యక్తి పేరును తొలగించడానికి అప్లికేషన్ పెట్టుకోవడం లేదు, పైగా మెంబర్ని ఆడ్ చేసుకోవడానికి మీ సేవలో దరఖాస్తు చేసుకుంటున్నారు.

దీనివల్ల రేషన్ కార్డు యొక్క వివరాలు జనాల వివరాలు మ్యాచ్ కాకపోవడం వల్ల, ప్రభుత్వం సతమతమవుతోంది అందువల్ల కుటుంబంలో లేనివారి వివరాలను తొలగించేందుకు తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం సరికొత్త నిర్ణయాన్ని అమలు చేయనుంది.

అదేంటంటే రేషన్ కార్డులో గల కుటుంబ సభ్యుల వివరాలను ఆన్లైన్లో ప్రాజెక్ట్ చేయనున్నారు.

దీనికొరకు ప్రతి కుటుంబంలోని కుటుంబ సభ్యులందరూ రేషన్ షాప్ కు వచ్చి ఫింగర్ ప్రింట్ అథెంటికేషన్ చేయవలసి ఉంటుంది.

ప్రస్తుతం రేషన్ కార్డు ఉన్నవారు రేషన్ షాప్ కు వచ్చి అథెంటికేషన్ వేసి రేషన్ తీసుకుంటున్నారు.

అయితే కుటుంబ సభ్యుల్లో ఎవరో ఒకరు వచ్చి రేషన్ తీసుకుని వెళ్తారు, ఇందులో కుటుంబ సభ్యులలో చనిపోయిన వారి పేర్లు అలాగే ఉండిపోతున్నాయి, మరియు వీరి పేరుట కూడా రేషన్ తీసుకుని వెళ్తున్నారు.

కానీ కుటుంబ సభ్యులు ఎవరైనా చనిపోతే వారి వివరాలను అధికారులకు అందజేయవలసి ఉంటుంది.

ఈనెల అనగా సెప్టెంబర్ 11వ తేదీ నుండి ఈ ప్రక్రియ మొదలు కావాల్సి ఉండగా సాంకేతిక కారణాల వల్ల ఈ ప్రక్రియ ఆగిపోయింది అయితే మరి కొద్ది రోజుల్లో ఈ ప్రక్రియను మొదలు పెట్టేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం సన్నాహాలు చేస్తోంది.

అయితే దూర ప్రాంతాలలో ఉన్న వారి గురించి ఎటువంటి నిర్ణయం ఇంకా తీసుకోలేదు వారిపై క్లారిటీ వచ్చిన తరువాత ఈ నూతన ప్రక్రియను ప్రారంభించాలని ప్రజలు కోరుతున్నట్లు అధికార వర్గాలు చెబుతున్నాయి.

అయితే రేషన్ షాప్ కు వచ్చి ఫ్యామిలీ సభ్యులందరూ బయోమెట్రిక్ అప్డేట్ చేయడం వల్ల కుటుంబంలో ఎవరెవరు ఉన్నారు అని తెలుసుకునేందుకు ఉపయోగపడుతుందని ప్రభుత్వం తెలియజేసింది.

అందుకోసం ప్రతి రేషన్ షాప్ లో e-KYC ప్రక్రియను ప్రారంభిస్తున్నట్లు ప్రభుత్వం తెలిపింది.

దీని ద్వారా అందరి రేషన్ కార్డులలో మరణించిన వారి సభ్యుల వివరాలు తీసివేయడం జరుగుతుంది.

దీంతో రేషన్ షాప్స్ ద్వారా పంపిణీ చేయవలసిన సరుకుల మొత్తం కూడా తగ్గుతుంది ప్రభుత్వం అంచనాలు వేస్తుంది.

కానీ తెలంగాణలో ఒక స్టేట్ కి VPN క్యాటగిరీకి ఉండవలసిన Ratio కంటే ఎక్కువ రేషియో ఉన్నదని కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం వెల్లడించింది.

అందుకుగాను బోగస్ కార్డులు మరియు అనర్హులను రేషన్ కార్డు నుండి తొలగించవలసిందిగా ఉత్తర్వులు కూడా జారీ చేసింది.

కానీ ఇప్పుడు కొత్త రేషన్ కార్డులు ఇవ్వకపోగా ఉన్న రేషన్ కార్డులను తీసివేస్తే ఎలక్షన్లలో ప్రాబ్లం అవుతుందని ఆ ప్రక్రియను పక్కనపెట్టి రేషన్ కార్డులలో మరణించిన సభ్యులను తొలగించడానికి ఈ కొత్త ప్రక్రియను అమలు చేయనుంది.

ప్రస్తుతం మీ సేవలో కొత్త రేషన్ కార్డుకు దరఖాస్తు చేసుకునే అప్లికేషన్స్ ఏవి లేవు, కానీ మెంబర్ని చేర్చడం కోసం కానీ డేటా కరెక్షన్ కోసం అప్లికేషన్ అయితే అవైలబుల్ ఉంది, కానీ ఈ 8 సంవత్సరాలలో అప్లికేషన్ చేసుకున్న వారికి మళ్ళీ కొత్త అప్లికేషన్ ఇవ్వడం లేదు.
