UIDAI Aadhar card is the most powerful identity proof for a resident of India. Aadhar enrollment fee is Rs 0 and it is the right of an individual to have his/her AADHAR CARD generated. If you have not yet enrolled for Aadhar card, enroll now at your nearest aadhar enrollment centre.

Aadhar card registration started 5 years back from today and at that time Mobile number was not registered to their aadhar. Even today in some enrollments mobile number is not registered. It is necessary that a mobile number is registered as to carry out the updations in AADHAAR as address change etc.

Complete Step By Step Guide About The UIDAI Portal Online

Apply UID Aadhaar card

As per government rules and regulations a person can’t apply the UID aadhaar card online. The only option left is to contact the nearest enrollment center there you can submit the required document details.

 Step – 1 

At step -1 you need to find the enrollment office. With the help of the UIDAI online portal you can search whether an enrollment office is situated nearby your area or not. In most cases, there is at-least one PAC will be available in your city or town.

Proof Of Identity: POI

The following documents should contain your name and photo.

  • Pan Card

POA – Proof of Address Documents

POR – Proof of Relationships

  • PDS card
  • MNREGA Job Card
  • CGHS/State Government/ECHS/ESIC Medical card
  • Army Canteen Card
  • Birth Certificate issued by Registrar of Birth, Municipal Corporation and other notified local government bodies like Taluk, Tehsil etc
  • Marriage Certificate Issued by the Government

DOB – Documents 

Date Of Birth Documents: We have collected complete data from the official uidai portal.

Date of birth documents are mandatory. You need to have at least any one of the following document:

  • Birth Certificate ( Mostly preferred this one )
  • SSLC Book/Certificate
  • Passport
  • Certificate of Date of Birth issued by Group A Gazetted Officer on letterhead
  • PAN Card
  • Mark sheet issued by any Government Board or University.

Once you are collected the necessary documents the next step that you need to follow is to fill out the application form.

Note: Don’t forget to collect the Acknowledgment number. Acknowledgment slip is a must. If you don’t have an acknowledgment slip. Then you can’t access the UIDAI status online.

Check The Application Form Status Via UID Portal

With the help of the UIDAI portal you can track your application form status. In order to proceed with the application form status. You need to have the following details.

  • Acknowledgment Slip

The Acknowledgment slip is mandatory. Where on that slip you will see an EID number.

EID – Represents: Enrollment Number. The Enrollment number consists of 14 digits unique number. This number is used to track the status via UIDAI website online.

Along with the EID number, you also need to have a Date and time. Which also consists 14 digit. Together 28 digits unique number is required to check the status of UID.

Note :

If your mobile number is not updated. You can contact the nearest PAC office Immediately to get online benefits.

Resident can now register online with UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) in order to get an Aadhaar number generated. By following this process, residents can save time spent in an enrolment centre. Residents can submit their basic demographic data relating to himself or herself by registering online.

PLEASE NOTE: A visit to enrolment centre is necessary as a resident has to give his biometric and fingerprints scan.

Conditions for Aadhaar card web Pre-enrolment:

This facility for online pre-enrolment application for Aadhaar number by submission of demographic information of the resident has been provided by Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) for the convenience of the resident. It is however clarified that this online application process is a convenience provided by the UIDAI to enable quicker enrolment at the enrolment station and does not guarantee the successful generation of Aadhaar.

The online pre-enrolment application form can be submitted by the resident or any person on behalf of the resident.

The resident is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and correctness of the information provided online through this mechanism. The UIDAI is not responsible or liable for the accuracy or correctness or otherwise of the data uploaded by the resident.

The UIDAI will not issue an Aadhaar number based on the online application submitted by the resident until the resident goes to an enrolment station along with the proof of identity and address documents, to provide their biometric information and verify the accuracy of the demographic information provided.

Once the online application is submitted, the resident can go to any of the enrolment centers, which has online connectivity for completing the process as defined in 4.

UIDAI will not be responsible for any loss or inconvenience suffered by the resident if the resident does not appear for biometric capture and data verification on the date specified and at the enrolment station specified.

The resident is responsible for the safety and security of their data at the terminal from where the information is being uploaded.

UIDAI does not guarantee that the connectivity shall be available at the enrolment center and hence a resident may have to visit another enrolment center for Aadhaar enrolment.
