The basic purpose of the Policy is to create the People Hub as a Single Source of Truth. This can’t be achieved unless all the relevant databases mentioned earlier are made to converge and interoperate seamlessly, within a short period of time to ensure synchronization of the various datasets. The Smart Pulse Survey precisely attempts to do this. This survey is based on latest IT tools and would be the most comprehensive survey ever. Just by a touch of button, we can get all details of the socio economic status of families and we will ensure that all cash benefits to genuine beneficiaries would be directly credited to their bank accounts.

Altogether 30,000 enumerators will be conduct the survey across the State. Each enumerator shall be assigned an Enumerator’s Block (EB) consisting of a population of 1000, which may constitute about 300 households. The enumerators will use tablets provided by the government. Data collected from each household would be uploaded online in real-time. The government intends to collect details including caste, religion, region, socio-economic status of households. The government would issue a zipper code to each house enumerated.
