How to Apply for Birth Certificate – Application Process for birth certificate,, Enclosures need to be submitted for BC in India, How To update/correct data on Birth Certificate, how many days does it take to get birth certification are given below. Birth Certificate is one of the most important certificate for citizen. Because wherever you go to apply for, you need to submit your Birth Certificate which is a proof of your birth/ age/ birth place etc. So in order to apply for Birth Certificate, candidates may refer below given details.
Online Registration of Birth Certificate through centralized CRS portal at : http://crsorgi.gov.in/web/index.php/auth/signUp
1) Candidates may get their Birth Certificate by submitting Application along with required documents Like Aadhaar, Address proof etc., within 15 days, if they have hospital record.
Example :-
Your daughter/son who was born in a hospital and the hospital authority gave you all certificates which are regarding to your daughter/son’s birth. Then you can apply through prescribed application form along with supporting documents such as hospital record, Address proof etc., for your daughter/son’s birth certificate which which will be issued within 15 days.

2) In case there is no record either at home or in municipality. Then they have to 1st get Non-availability certificate from Meeseva. After that they may file a petition for late birth application to the RDO through Meeseva. This will take 75 days process. Candidates may get RDO NOTE from Meeseva, if RDO inquiry procedure have completed successfully.
That RDO NOTE should be submitted in the municipality and should get proceedings NOTE from municipality. Again visit Meeseva and apply for Birth Certificate by providing Municipality application, proceedings copy, address proof. You will get Birth Certificate withing 15 days, if all certificates are submitted in a proper manner.
How to apply for Non-availability certificate:-
In order to apply for Non-availability certificate, candidates are required to produce below given certificates at meeseva along with application form of Non-availability certificate.
Enclosures for Non-availability certificate :-
- Application form
- 10th Class Certificate / Date of Birth Proof (Doctor/Nurse signed)
- Address Proof
Once you have submitted all documents along with application form in a propare manner at meeseva, you will be sent an SMS from Meeseva by saying that your application for Non availability Birth has been accepted and come down meeseva to collect your Non-availability certificate after 1 day (24 hrs). You will get your Non-availability certificate not more than 15 days through meeseva.

How to apply for RDO NOTE:- Soon after getting Non-availability certificate, Applicant 1st go to notary, get type your details on a Rs. 10/- bond stamp and signed by advocate. Applicant should get signature along with address from the 4 neighbours (Females). In this application form there will be 5 columns by leaving 1st column, you should get signature along with address from the 4 neighbours (Females). Once you have prepared all below given documents, Visit to Meeseva and submit all necessary document along with application. RDO NOTE procees may take about 60 days may be before that.
Following enclosures to be submitted to RDO form :-
- Affidavit Notary
- Birth proof certificate
- Schools study certificate or 10th class marks list photocopy
- Ration card / aadhaar card / voter ID / Present residential certificate / current bill
- Statement Form
- Challan
- Non-availability certificate issued by the GP or Municipal commissioner
Applicant will be issued within 60 days the RDO NOTE which will be available in Meeseva. RDO NOTE should be submitted in the municipality and should get proceedings NOTE from municipality. Again visit meeseva and apply for Birth Certificate by providing Municipality application, proceedings copy, address proof. You will get Birth Certificate withing 15 days, if all certificates are submitted in a proper manner.

There are two case to get birth certificate..
1) If you have Hospital certificate (where you were born), you will be offered birth certificate within 15 days.
15 days
2) If you don’t hospital certificate then you have to apply for RDO Note which will be take about 60 days may be before and you need to apply birth certificate which will take 15 days.
60+15=75 days

I got NAC and I go to further step RDO applied in Meeseva but I have one doubt meeseva Claint said me that the applied application’s should submit in Mro office.is it correct or not? If not what can I have to do and what my next step after applied RDO?

If you got NAC certificate, then you can submit the NAC and DOB application forms at MRO office, They will provide to DOB certificate with in 30 days. After that you can get your DOB Certificates 2 (or) more copies with seal and signature of officers, at APOnline server centers by paying the service charges.

Im currently in Dubai and have little or no contact in Hyderabad. How can i apply for a birth certificate online or through agency? I realise there needs to be someone doing the ground work of physically approaching the centre with the mentioned forms and submitting them personally? Is there a way around this?

Hi prad | Yes there is possibility to get your DOB certificate through agency by providing your relevant documents with them either online or offline. But you don’t trust fake agency in this matter, just you refer the background of the agency which you are decided to approach with them and then you can share your relevant documents with them. The payments should be transfer through online payments / cheque only. You can take agreement from the agency before start while the process.
Finally there are several number of DOB certificate agencies are available in Hyderabad, please search their contact numbers in google.

Hi Srilatha, It is Very, you can take Ration card and Adhar card of your son’s, Submit it in your regional “Mee Seva office”, They will provide your son’s B.Certificate.
Or
If you have your son’s birth-certificate “Trans ID/Application No” then it is very easy to find B.Certificate at meeseva.
Any way you can goto your nearest meeseva center.

I’ve a question regarding Birth Certificate. I’ve got my Birth certificate issued in 2009 from Municipality. Now, I’m trying to get the RDO copy (which is mandatory for Date of Birth Certificate Legalization – Visa purpose). But when I checked with Meeseva agent, found there is no such record named RDO copy with my database.

Hi Gowtham, You can follow these steps it may helps you. Your elder birth certificate (which provided in 2009 by Municipality) has a unique registration number. So it is already mentioned in the records, now you can take it to Municipality office and ask them, where is my record, because you got your elder DOB provided by Municipality so you have that right. Finally they will give you the best solution for this problem.

Hi… My parents failed to register my birth in municipality. So they file a case in court and succesfully we get order in 2004 but mybad my parents unknowingly again failed to register my birth in the municipality due to their unawareness. Now I went to municipality office they told us that court order is expired. So now you have to apply NAC certificate.. I need to know a correct procedure to get my birth certificate. Please kindly give me a way to get the BC.
Hi Kirubarani, If your parents applied for your B.C. in the court order duration period, then only it done successfully. But your parents did mistake again, because now the court order is expired, so you are not possible to apply with the expired court order documents. Please apply for Non availability certificate and then proceed further for B.C. Certificate.

If you want to change your daughter’s name in birth certificate, you can re-apply at RDO. My suggestion is please be your daughter’s Birth Certificate without any mistakes, and it is possible now only after 5 (or) 6 years this process would be painful. So please proceed right now, it for baby.

Hi Respectively sivalakshmi, It is possible to get Birth Certificate through RDO proceeding and it will takes below 30 days to complete processing and get your baby Birth Certificate, if you have your baby hospital form. You are welcome to apply for B.Certificate, they will tell you how much would be the processing fee.

Hi sivalakshmi Madam, The Hospital Form is only used to apply for your baby Birth Certificate, But “BIRTH CERTIFICATE” Useful for your baby passport, in banks fixed deposits, also it will useful to apply for “GURUKUL SCHOOL”, etc wheres. So you keep your baby birth certificate it will be used in many wheres for your baby.

Hi Asif Mohammad, Sorry for this late replay. You are telling your son born in gram panchayat limits, so you need to take Date of Birth Certificate from there only. So please apply your DOB certificate at your gram panchayat office by submitting your child application form, NAC along with relevant documents. You are telling that you already have your child’s hospital birth certificate, it is very easy process to get DOB certificate. But you can submit through NAC (or) Hospital Birth Certificate, do not submit both certificates for DOB, because they think duplicate of the NAC (or) Hospital Birth Certificate. Do application submission either NAC process (or) Hospital Birth Certificate process.

Hi Raja Mukherjee, you are eligible to apply for Non availability certificate if you have study certificate of SSC (If you don’t have , then you can go and collect again your study certificate from your respective studied school). Take all relevant documents xerox copies and fill the application and apply at your nearest mee seva center.
