Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) of Jammu and Kashmir will soon launch E-Ration card and link them with Adhaar Number, which would enable the beneficiaries to get the E-Ration Card online, Ration card details will be available from department website http://jkcapd.nic.in/ really it’s good news for Ration card Card holders, “E-ration cards download facility  will be given in Jammu and Kashmir“, Minister for Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution.

The Department of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution provides food grains including Sugar and Kerosene oil to consumers in every nook and corner of the State. Currently food grains are received by the State from the Government of India, for distribution of ration to the families of Above Poverty Line (APL), Below Poverty Line (BPL) and beneficiaries under AAY and Annapurna Schemes at affordable and subsidized rates. The Department also plays an active role in managing the supplies of other essential commodities and also keeping check on market prices.

1.People first logon to Department Website http://jkcapd.nic.in/

2. Than Click on “KNOW YOUR FPS & RATION CARD” option on Right site of Web-page.

3. Now Click on “Ration Card details“

4. Select your District Name in the list.

5. Select your Taluka/Tehsil Wise

6. Select your FPS (Ration Shop No)

7. Select tour Ration Card Number.

8. finally get your “Ration Card details “

UPDATE : Present This procedure is not available in http://jkcapd.nic.in/ website.  Citizens know their Ration card details only .

Jammu and Kashmir RC list available with Category wise , People can check their Ration card Details after selecting  their District Name / Tehsil Name / Village Name / FPS Name ( Fire Price Shop )  than Search  Ration Card Details through   Unique RC ID or  Applicant Name . Than Click on ” Unique RC ID” for View Ration card Details.
