Type of Ration Cards/FIC in Assam

In Assam, FIC cards are issued in various colors and each color signifies a different category. For now, Government is issuing 3 kinds of ration cards, APL, BPL and AAY in Assam. Person with no Ration Card

It is very rare but in case you don’t have a ration card then you will have to obtain a written certificate from any of the Head/Gaon Panchayat President/Ward Commissioner/ Inspector, FCS&CA; / Concerned Authority that states that this person has no Ration card issued for his family. You will need to attach this written certificate in the original Ration Card Application form.

Duplicate Ration Card

Lost your card or something has happened with it, this scenario applies there. In this case you will have to submit your application stating the reason why you want a duplicate ration card. Duplicate ration card will be issued and you will have to pay standard processing fees for it.

Address Change

Under this case, Surrender Certificate is required from the concerning FCS&CA; authority with clear statement about your previous residence. You need to attach this statement with your ration card application form. Without a proper surrender certificate you will not be able to change your address in ratio/FIC card.

Addition of name after marriage

In such cases, you will need a deletion certificate issued by FCS&CA; authority. It should clearly mention that your name is deleted from your previous ration card and now it can be added to the new one. Once you have this statement in written, you can proceed with the addition of newly married person in your existing Ration Card.

Newly born child and death cases

In both the cases you will either need birth certificate (newly born child) or death certificate (death cases) for addition or deletion of particular name from existing rashan card.

Apply online for Ration Card/FIC in Assam

For now I don’t see any option of applying online. So you will have to submit your duly filled ration card form at FCS & CA authority of the District/Sub-Division(C).

In case you want to change head of the family in your ration card then you will have to show death certificate of previous head person (in case of head) or an affidavit stating the reason to replace current head name from the card. You will have to submit no objection certificate also.

It is the latest offer/facility in the complete suit that allows you to apply, check ration card status and much more on online platforms only. How to renew FPS (Fair Price Shop) License online in Delhi

How to download provisional certificate for renewal license of Fair Price Shop

As soon as you completed the renewal process, you will be issued a provisional certificate for renewal license. You can download the same using below procedure:

• It will look like below image:

• Enter asked details like FPS License Number, Application Number

• After entering all the details, hit the “Search” button.

This is it! You will see your provision renewal card. Download it and get it printed in colored fonts (black and white will work as well). You can use this printed provisional certificate for FPS license renewal till you get the original license copy shipped to your given address.

I have received few queries where users are not getting/receiving latest notification even after registering their mobile numbers using above procedure. Please check whether you have activated DND (Do Not Disturb) on your given mobile number or not. In case DnD is activated on your mobile number then high chances are there that notifications will not be delivered to your phone.

In such cases you will either have to deactivate DND (or you can change the preferences also) from your mobile number or alternatively you can register another number that is not registered with DnD service yet.

• Either birth certificate copy (for minors) or voter ID card’s copy for adults

Types of Ration Card in Chandigarh and how to get them?

You can apply for below ration card types in Chandigarh:

Above Poverty Line APL Ration Card
Issued to families with household income more than the poverty line index. In order to get one, you need to submit your application duly attested from either Gazetted Officer (in urban areas) or Village Sarpanch (in rural area). You will also have to submit two family photographs.

Below Poverty Line BPL Ration Card
It is issued to families with income less than Rs. 432.9 per capita per month. It is issued in yellow color and is given special subsidy rates. Application form and photographs will be same as that of APL case mentioned above.

In addition to this you will have to submit and affidavit clearly stating that applicant does not have a colored television, refrigerator or scooter and his income is not more that Rs. 432.9 per capita per month.

Antyodya Card or Green Ration Card

• Widows
• Handicapped people
